Children and Stamps_The Hellenic Post supports the initiative SMOKEFREEGREECE
“I have the right to breathe fresh air! I have the right to be healthy!”
The Hellenic Post extended their support to the SmokefreeGreece initiative by proceeding with a Commemorative set of stamps, entitled “Children and Stamps”. The new set included two different stamps and other products of philately interest, inspired by the SmokefreeGreece material.
The set urges grown-ups to steer clear of smoking, which is the central idea behind the SMOKEFREEGREECE campaign and the “Learning Not to Smoke” message, which made its appearance during the 9 Panhellenic Student Conferences “Education for a Smokefree Generation”.
The Hellenic Post also undertook the distribution of 30.000 notebooks “Learning to be Smokefree” to all elementary schools of the Regions of Crete and Epirus, Greece.
