Dr. Vaso Evangelopoulou is an experienced physician, Pulmonologist and Intensivist. She is a graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, School of Medicine with a Doctoral degree from the same school. For twenty years (1988-2008), she worked as an Intensive Care physician in the ICU of Korgialenio-Benakion General Hospital of Athens. From 1993, she was also the responsible for the Respiratory Department including the Laboratory for lung function testing.<\/p>\n

In 2008, she became Director of the ICU and head of the Respiratory Department and Smoking Cessation clinic at \u201cKyanous Stavros\u201d hospital (2008-2015).
\nIn 2012, she joined the Institute of Biomedical Research of the Academy of Athens as a researcher in the frame of the HEART program (2012-2015).
\nSince then she has been constantly involved in the organization of the yearly Panhellenic Student Conference and in 2016 as president of the organizing committee developed a successful conference.<\/p>\n

A valuable part of the \u201cGeorge D. Behrakis Research Lab\u201d-HCS team since the very beginning, she contributes her scientific and educational expertise to the LAB\u2019s mission and aims.<\/p>\n

Cultural with a special interest in tradition and customs, she published In 2015 her book \u201cBabies\u2019 sleep and lullabies\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n
