Stephanie is an RN and currently a Research Associate at the George D. Behrakis Research Lab- Hellenic Cancer Society, working primarily on scientific and social research in Public Health with a focus on Tobacco Control in Greece and Europe. She holds a BScN and MPH with specialization in the Social and Behavioral Sciences of Public Health.
Her previous experience includes working as a nurse in Community Care and Chronic Disease Prevention and Management in Toronto, as an Occupational Health Nurse for Infection Prevention and Control, qualitative researcher at the NGO, “Workplace Health Without Borders”, and at “Doctors of the World” during the refugee crisis in Greece.
